German-British #Freundship Award

The German-British #Freundship Award has been recognizing, since 2021, individuals, projects, and organizations that demonstrate outstanding commitment to German-British friendship and cooperation. In an era where international relations are becoming increasingly complex, the Award serves as a visible symbol of dialogue, collaboration, and mutual understanding between Germany and the United Kingdom.

The Award honours exceptional achievements in the fields of culture, science, business, and social engagement. It is dedicated to those who, through their work, build bridges between Germany and the United Kingdom, foster sustainable partnerships, and make a significant contribution to strengthening bilateral relations.

The laureates are selected by an independent, distinguished jury composed of experts and leading figures from politics, business, culture, and civil society in both countries. This process ensures that the recognition of achievements is transparent, fair, and of the highest relevance.

Since its inception, the Award has celebrated numerous inspiring individuals and initiatives, highlighting the importance of German-British collaboration. Supported by dedicated partners and sponsors, the German-British #Freundship Award provides a platform to showcase outstanding commitment, encourage mutual exchange, and strengthen long-term connections between Germany and the United Kingdom.
